Helen Ogden Widener was born in Conway, Arkansas and has an
interest in all things historical. She loves old books, antiques, and the cultural
and social history of people who came to America during its early years. She
enjoys converting old recipes into good modern foods and is interested in the
ancient use of herbal remedies. Helen is the author of Irving Centennial
Cookbook and family histories and Hutchins of Pine Mountain, three hundred
years of migration.
